Day 1:
Starting your journey at 07:00 AM from Manaus, you will be picked up and transported to Ceasa Port via speedboat. Proceeding downstream on the Rio Negro, you will stop at the Meeting of Waters. Following this, you will travel approximately one and a half hours by car towards Ubim Lake.
Upon arrival at Ubim Lake, you will transfer to another speedboat for a 20-minute journey to the floating dock where interactions with river dolphins may occur. You will then proceed to the lodge located upstream after approximately one hour's boat ride. Enjoy refreshments during this period and relax while your hosts arrange your accommodation.
Following the meal, you will venture into the river by motorized canoe for activities such as piranha fishing and birdwatching. Situated amidst the backdrop of the sunset, return to the lodge for dinner. Departure for further exploration will commence by motorized canoe, aimed at locating Caymans within the vicinity.
On Day 2, start your day at 7:00 AM with breakfast followed by a morning jungle trek. Your guide will provide insights into the flora, fauna, and medicinal plants exclusive to the Amazon Basin. Upon completion of the trek, return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, take part in exploring the Anavilhanas Archipelago by boat. This excursion takes place between February and August when the area experiences the dry season. On the return journey, admire a breathtaking sunset.
On Day 3, awaken to the natural sounds of the forest as the sun rises. Following breakfast, engage in a boating expedition through local streams. Later, visit a local community to learn about their cultural practices and life alongside the Negro River.
Should you opt for a three-day itinerary, conclude your journey in Manaus after lunch.
For those choosing a longer tour, commence the adventure by embarking on a boat trip to the Anavilhas Arquipelagos to explore the region, engaging in birdwatching, and seeking out monkeys and other wildlife. During the drier months from September to April, undertake a hike in the Vazea area. Return to the lodge for the evening.
On Day 4, begin your day with breakfast at 7:00 AM. Proceed to explore the igarape channel aboard a small boat, observing its diverse inhabitants. Return to the lodge for lunch.
For the four-day itinerary, complete your journey in Manaus after lunch.
For the five-day option, allocate some free time at the lodge prior to embarking on a nighttime camping expedition. Sleep under the stars in hammocks equipped with mosquito nets, savoring meals prepared in the jungle over a fire.
On Day 5, commence your day with a delightful breakfast in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Embark upon a guided hike to discover the unique flora and fauna of the region. Afterwards, return to the lodge for lunch. Set off again at 2:00 PM for your journey back to Manaus, arriving by 4:30 PM.
